RESOLUTION NO. 411
DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING POLICY
FOR EMPLOYEES AND/OR AGENTS OF THE CITY WHO OPERATE
COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM ADOPTING
POLICIES PERTAINING TO DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING FOR EMPLOYEES
AND/OR AGENTS OF THE CITY WHO OPERATE COMMERCIAL VEHICLES.
WHEREAS, the Federal Highway Administration requires drug and alcohol testing for
Commercial Driver's License holders; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interests of the City of Yelm and of its
employees and/or agents of the city to set forth these policies in writing;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM,
WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
The attached policies for the City of Yelm are hereby adopted and shall be in force
immediately and until repealed or amended by action of the Council.
Section 2.
A copy of these policies shall be distributed to all current and future employees and/or agents
of the City who will operate a commercial vehicle.
