407 Medical Insurance Cap CITY OF YELM RESOLUTION NO. 407 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON INCREASING THE MEDICAL INSURANCE CAP FOR CITY OF YELM EMPLOYEES. WHEREAS, the City Council, in the best interest of the City, established a cap on the amount Yelm will pay for employee medical benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage; and, WHEREAS, City Council at the same time established and authorized creating an insurance pool and combining and redistributing the full pool amount among employees to help reduce employee out of pocket expenses; and WHEREAS, City Council periodically reviews and revises this rate: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES RESOLVE, AS FOLLOWS: The maximum employer contribution per employee for medical coverage for the year 2001 shall be: Section 1. Effective January 1, 2001, increase the Employer monthly per employee CAP to $349.00. This equates to a monthly payroll deduction for those employees over the CAP in the amount of $49.00. Section 2. The insurance plan shall be the AWC Plan B.
