400B Animal Impound Fees CITY OF YELM RESOLUTION NO. 400 B WHEREAS, Yelm Municipal Code Chapter 6.08, Animal Regulations, was enacted for the purpose of regulating the keeping of dogs, cats and other pet animals within the City; and increasing impound fees to a maximum of $95 for five days. WHEREAS, fees, charges and penalties collected are budgeted to defray the expense of such regulation; and WHEREAS, Yelm Municipal Code Chapter 6.08.130, §D authorizes the setting of impound fees by resolution of the Yelm City Council; and WHEREAS, fees have remained unchanged since 1992 (Res. 237) and costs to the City to provide services have increased; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Yelm that commencing June 7, 2000, the maximum fee charged for animals impounded by the City of Yelm shall be $95.00 applied as follows: $35.00 per day for the first day or any portion of the first day $15.00 per day for the second through the fifth day or any portion thereof ADOPTED by the City Council of the City ofYelm at a regular meeting held on the 24th day of May, 2000 ~~ In t()~ ¿~n M.
