587 Segregating Existing Assessments under the Killion Rd. LIDCITY OF YELM RESOLUTION NUMBER 587 SEGREGATING EXISTING ASSESSMENTS UNDER THE KILLION ROAD LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT WHEREAS the City of Yelm has received written application from the property owner of the plat known as Tahoma Terra Master Planned Community attached as Exhibit A requesting the segregation of existing assessments within the Killion Road Local Improvement District; and WHEREAS Section 35.44.410 of the Revised Code of Washington authorizes the City Council to order the segregation of local improvement district assessments whenever property subject to such assessments is subdivided; and WHEREAS the parcels to be affected by this segregation are identified in the records of Thurston County Assessor's Office as tax parcel numbers 78640000019 and 78640000020; and WHEREAS the current and revised parcel configuration is shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit B; and WHEREAS, this segregation will continue to protect the security of outstanding district obligations payable from such assessments and preserve the security of these liens by reallocating the assessments proportionally to the newly created parcels; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Yelm that the assessment roll of the Killion Road Local Improvement District, which was confirmed and adopted by Ordinance No. 903 on May 12, 2009 shall be modified to reflect the requested segregation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that assessments shall be segregated in accordance with Section 35.44.410 of the Revised Code of Washington to real property located within the boundaries of the Killion Road Local Improvement District and identified as Thurston County Assessor tax parcel numbers 78640000019 & 78640000020. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the combined sum of the amended assessments shall equal the sum of the existing assessments before segregation as shown in Exhibit C, and the assessment roll is in all other respects reaffirmed.
