Roll Call Present: El Curry, Molly Carmody, Jennifer Littlefield, Tad Stillwell, Tracey Wood, Joe DePinto and Russ Hendrickson. 3. Agenda Approval 17-228 MOTION BY TRACEY WOOD TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS PRESENTED. SECONDED BY RUSS HENDRICKSON. MOTION CARRIED. 4. Special Presentations - Purple Heart Proclamation Student of the Month- Jared Cullum Recognition of Cub Scout Gabriel Thomas 5. Public Comment- no comments 6. Consent Agenda a. Minutes - Regular meeting October 24, 2017 & Special Workshop, October 17, 2017. b. Payables - 17-229 MOTION BY TRACEY WOOD TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED. SECONDED BY RUSS HENDRICKSON. MOTION CARRIED. 7. Public Hearing - none scheduled 8. New Business - a. Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Teamsters Local Union No. 252 and the City of Yelm for 2018-2020 17-230 MOTION BY MOLLY CARMODY AUTHORIZING MAYOR FOSTER TO SIGN THE CONTRACT WITH THE EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY THE TEAMSTERS LOCAL UNION NO. 252. SECONDED BY EJ CURRY. MOTION CARRIED. b. Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and the City of Yelm for 2018-2020 17-231 MOTION BY MOLLY CARMODY AUTHORIZING MAYOR FOSTER TO SIGN THE CONTRACT WITH THE EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE. SECONDED BY JOE DEPINTO. MOTION CARRIED. 9. Old Business - none scheduled 10. Department Updates- . Donnielle Burnham has been hired as the new Court Clerk to replace Judy Butler who is retiring at the end of November. 11-14-17 • The background check is being done on the Building Official candidate and if all goes well an offer will be extended. • A Performance Management Sustainable Audit is underway with Johnson Controls. 11. Mayor and Council Initiatives Councilmember Curry attended the Thurston County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAG) and the SE Thurston County Fire Authority meeting. Councilmember Carmody met with organizers of the Seattle to Portland (STP) event and discussed possibility of changing the route in the future. Councilmember Carmody also met with local citizens to discuss Homelessness. Councilmember Littlefield stated tonight is her last Council meeting. Councilmember Littlefield thanked the Council and said she is very proud of the accomplishments they have made. Councilmember Wood attended the Thurston Regional Planning Transportation Council (TRPC). Councilmember Wood acknowledged Councilmember Littlefiield's time on Council and thanked her for her service. Councilmember DePinto attended Regional AWC meeting. Councilmember DePinto would like an update from our lobbyists. Councilmember Hendrickson attended the Yelm Emergency Operations Board meeting. Mayor Foster thanked Councilmember Littlefield for her service on Council. Mayor Foster attended outstanding Veteran's Day Celebrations. Mayor Foster attended the Thurston County Chamber meeting and the Yelm Chamber Luncheon today. 12. Executive Session - none scheduled 13.
